Welcome to Medieval Kits! I’m Joe Staggs, the sole creator and operator of this business. I design, manufacture, and sell model trebuchets, catapults, ballistas, and more.

I started Medieval Kits in 2017 after a successful Kickstarter campaign. The inspiration behind the business was to create model kits that are both beautifully crafted and functional. My goal was to design something that anyone could assemble and proudly display in their home or office.

My target audience includes hobbyists interested in model kits and miniatures, educators and students studying medieval warfare, and anyone who enjoys office/desktop toys.

I handle every aspect of the business, including designing, manufacturing, and fulfillment. I've devoted countless hours to crafting each of our model kits. I take great pride in creating accurate, detailed representations of medieval siege engines that anyone can assemble and enjoy.

What sets these model kits apart is the construction method. Unlike other kits that are glued together, these kits utilize wood joinery and brass pins. This means the kits are assembled by driving brass pins into the wood and snapping the wood pieces together, creating a sturdy and long-lasting model.
